abc2mtex
abc2mtex is a notation package that uses an
ASCII input format. It was designed primarily
for folk and traditional Western European music
(such as Irish, English, and Scottish), which
can be written on one stave in standard
classical notation. However, it also supports
multiple staves and can be used with many other
types of music. It can also be used as a fast
preprocessor for MusicTeX or MusiXTeX.
